Senior Associate NYC

At SecondMuse I will be helping New York cleantech startups manufacture and get to market. As part of the M-Corps team in the NYC office, I will be focused on building and managing our expert network, providing technical support to startups, and supporting curriculum development along with program design and delivery. I’ll leverage my engineering background to connect our cohort of cleantech startups with appropriate experts at critical times. With the support and training provided by M-Corps, startups will be able to scaleup production and get their products to market to meet the state’s clean energy and emissions-reduction goals.

As a trained mechanical engineer, nothing excites me more than seeing innovative products in the hands of customers, making an impact on their everyday lives. I look at products not only as beautiful pieces of hardware, but also as compilations of the brain power of many experts along the product development process. During my time at General Motors, I worked with designers making their first sketches of the next electric vehicle through to UAW members driving vehicles off the line at Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly. At a time when climate change threatens our communities, I can not imagine a better place to put my broad engineering experience to work than helping cleantech startups scale within the M-Corps team.

I’m excited to bring the technical and manufacturing experience I gained in Detroit back home to New York. Growing up as an aspiring engineer on Long Island, I’m excited to be a part of scaling up the cleantech and hardware industry in the area for future generations. Outside of work, I’ve mentored several all-girls robotics teams and hope to inspire young girls to pursue careers in STEM.
