Quinn is a Program Coordinator for the NYC BigApps Blockchain innovation challenge, which presents an incredible opportunity to unify the blockchain community and connect them to NYC government agencies. In the past, BigApps has been run as a competition or hackathon, but the SecondMuse team is working to create robust educational programs to foster long-term solutions.
Quinn discovered her passion for entrepreneurship while attending NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where she helped plan and execute InnoVention competitions for four years. To strengthen her entrepreneurship education, she took on internships at Female Founders Fund and NYU Future Labs. Although this is her first endeavor in blockchain, she is applying the lean startup methodology to develop educational programs– identifying problems, talking to “customers” and using that information to iterate on potential solutions.
Quinn has participated in various accelerator and incubator programs herself, including the NYU Stern $300k Challenge and Real Startup Music Technology Accelerator with her own venture, Curtain Call. This has helped her identify what works and what doesn’t when it comes to entrepreneurship programming! Outside of work, she is a huge space and music nerd.
