Joy Kamunyori

Joy Kamunyori is a Senior Program Manager at SecondMuse based in Alexandria, Virginia. With over 17 years of experience in digital health and project management, Joy brings deep expertise in implementing and scaling digital solutions for health systems strengthening across multiple Sub-Saharan African countries.

Before joining SecondMuse, Joy served as a Senior Health Information Systems Advisor and Country Support Lead within the Office of HIV/AIDS at USAID's Bureau for Global Health. Prior to that, she held leadership roles at John Snow, Inc. (JSI) as a Program Director in the Center for Digital Health, and at ICF as a Senior Health Informatics Advisor — providing technical and managerial leadership in digital health at every level.

At SecondMuse, Joy brings this wealth of experience to programs at the intersection of health, technology, and global impact. Outside of work, she is an avid runner who has completed the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C. ten times.
