Bhupendra Sheoran

Bhupendra Sheoran is a medical doctor working at the intersection of design, innovation, and health technology. At SecondMuse, he serves as Senior Technical Advisor, AI & Digital Health, supporting the AI Collaborative: Health — working with governments, funders, technology partners, and implementing organizations to accelerate the responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across health systems in sub-Saharan Africa. His work focuses on translating emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable solutions that strengthen primary and community healthcare, with a particular emphasis on technical strategy, government co-design, and building the governance, partnerships, and learning systems needed to move promising AI innovations from pilot to sustainable national impact.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sheoran has advised governments, global health organizations, nonprofits, and technology companies on digital transformation and innovation. As a physician and entrepreneur, he has seen firsthand that lasting impact comes from combining technical innovation with strong partnerships, thoughtful implementation, and deep engagement with the communities these solutions are designed to serve. He believes AI represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strengthen health systems, empower frontline health workers, and improve outcomes at scale — when designed responsibly and in partnership with local leaders.

Outside of work, Bhupendra is an avid traveler who finds inspiration in different cultures and communities. He is driven by curiosity and a belief that bringing diverse perspectives together is the foundation for solving complex global challenges.
