SecondMuse Capital is the investing firm of the SecondMuse Group. SecondMuse Capital was started after spending over a decade working closely with entrepreneurs to support them as they grew and scaled their businesses, where, time and again, we saw that their capital needs were not being met by the products in the market. Since 2020, SecondMuse Capital has been dedicated to deeply understanding the needs of both investors and entrepreneurs by working with them to design and deploy innovative financial products.

Catalyzing Zambia's Green Transition
What if investing in a solar farm also cut food loss and put young people to work? With UNDP Zambia, SecondMuse Capital designed a $50M Systems Finance Facility, a first-of-its-kind vehicle that blends grant and return-seeking capital across renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and ecosystem support. It is a blueprint for what happens when capital flows through systems, not around them.

Financing Gender-Smart Climate Businesses in Asia
Drawing on SecondMuse's own Frontier Labs and The Incubation Network, SecondMuse Capital ran labs to meet the capital needs of gender-smart, climate-focused SMEs. This produced two mechanisms, a $45M Blended Debt Fund with affordable loans for impact-focused MSMEs and an $8M Evergreen Fund backing high-growth MSMEs banks see as too risky. Both are open for fundraising.

Building a Resilient Canada Climate Economy
Tailoring climate finance to Quebec’s landscape requires deep knowledge of its resources, entrepreneurial activity, and investor culture. Collaborating with 50+ organizations, SecondMuse Capital's inaugural lab designed a $50 million blended-finance fund and shifted its focus to embedding climate finance within the broader Future Economy Fund, advancing equity and sustainability.
