Morning Light was a Community-Sourced Incubator program powered by SecondMuse in partnership with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Over a three year span from October 2018 to September 2021, Morning Light built a community of stakeholders to support early-stage entrepreneurs in developing their businesses and impact on Battle Creek. During that time, Morning Light worked across the entrepreneurial ecosystem to develop strategic partnerships with neighborhood organizations that created resources to further support entrepreneurs located in Battle Creek. This report seeks to provide an overview of the program, key outcomes, and recommendations for the future of early-stage entrepreneur support in Battle Creek.
