Exploring Single-Use Plastic Reduction Initiatives in Thailand

In this report, we present profiles of five selected companies with which SecondMuse closely collaborated in 2023 and share their experiences of piloting solutions specifically targeted at reducing single-use plastic (SUP) consumption within their respective locales.

These profiles highlight the types of innovation being driven in Thailand and their potential contribution to achieving the government’s goals for plastic waste management and circular economy development under Thailand's Roadmap for Plastic Waste Management 2018-2030. We also share insights and recommendations from each company’s work, in the hope of providing on-the-ground perspectives that could inform the development of the nation’s EPR framework and other supportive policies and regulations.
