Tania Pimentel Vega

Tania is a Manager in Consulting at SecondMuse based in Mexico City. She supports the Al Agua México Initiative, helping coordinate program delivery while strengthening relationships across Mexico’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: translating ambitious ideas into clear systems, building partnerships, and creating the operational structures that allow programs and communities to grow. She also supports SecondMuse’s business development and ecosystem-building efforts in Mexico, identifying opportunities for collaboration and long-term impact.

Tania believes that meaningful change happens when people, ideas, and resources are intentionally connected. Her career has moved across architecture, entrepreneurship, technology, operations, and social impact, giving her a systems-oriented approach to complex challenges. Before joining SecondMuse, she led regional operations for a global media company, built and automated organizational systems as an independent consultant, and founded Women Index, a technology platform created to connect women with professional opportunities. Earlier in her career, she led programs and partnerships for the Association of Entrepreneurs of Mexico, supporting initiatives that reached hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs across Latin America. Across these roles, she has developed a particular passion for turning complexity into action and helping organizations build structures that can create sustainable impact.

Outside of work, Tania’s architecture background still shapes how she sees the world — she loves exploring cities, traveling, and discovering how people create and inhabit different places. She also enjoys singing, painting, learning German, and continuously picking up new interests and skills. She is happiest when she is learning something new, making something with her hands, or having a long conversation over a good meal.
