Dragon Innovation Signs on as Lead M-Corps Sponsor and Partner

SecondMuse’s M-Corps just got a whole lot stronger with the addition of Dragon Innovation as our lead sponsor and core design-for-manufacturing partner. Over the next two years, we’ll be helping dozens of cleantech startups manufacture and bring their products to market across New York State. Dragon Innovation will be alongside us to spearhead startups’ journey from prototype to high-volume factory production.
Manufacturing (and all its pitfalls) starts well before production, which is why we felt Dragon was the perfect fit for the NYSERDA-funded M-Corps. M-Corps startups will have free access to Dragon’s Product Planner, the industry-leading insight platform, as well as mentorship from Dragon engineers. The Boston-based firm works with companies as soon as they have a bill of materials and CAD Design. “The decisions you make early on cast a long shadow,” says Dragon Innovation CEO Scott N. Miller. M-Corps and Dragon will ensure that founders don’t make costly mistakes.
Product Planner shepherds startups through design decisions, material selection, quality plans, factory selection, cash flow reports, and more. Dragon will also help translate cleantech startups’ production needs into a language manufacturers understand.
